Heat treat cake mix. Pour the cake mix into a large microwave-safe bowl. Heat the flour in one-minute increments until it reaches 165 degrees.
Allow the cake mix to cool completely.
Once cool, mix it into 16 oz of cool whip.
Mix in sprinkles.
Transfer to a serving bowl and top with more sprinkles.
Serve with cookies.
