Blend frozen passion fruit and water to a smoothie consistency. Set aside.
Combine tequila, pomegranate liqueur, lime juice, pomegranate juice, and grenadine in a cocktail shaker.
Add a handful of ice to the shaker and firmly set the lid in place. Shake for 30 seconds to chill and combine the ingredients.
Strain the cocktail over ice into a glass.
Garnish with about 2 tablespoons of passion fruit puree.
