Gently muddle cucumber slices in the bottom of a cocktail shaker with lemon juice.
Add gin and elderflower liqueur to the shaker.
Add a handful of ice cubes to the shaker. Firmly secure the lid and shake for 30 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.
Use a mesh strainer to double strain the cocktail into a chilled glass.
