What you need

lb boneless chicken thighs

tsp oregano

tsp black pepper
tsp salt

lb italian sausage

cup water
tbsp garlic

cup white onion

cup celery

cup sweet potato

tbsp lemon juice

cup white rice
Instructions
1 Sear chicken breasts (or thighs) on medium-high heat in tablespoon of olive oil 2 Season chicken with salt, pepper, and oregano 3 Add ground Italian sausage and brown 4 Add 1 cup of water 5 Add chopped celery, white onion, garlic, and sweet potatoes 6 Cover and reduce heat to medium-low 7 Simmer for 25 minutes, or until sweet potatoes are tender 8 Shred chicken into large chunks inside pot 9 Add lemon juice 10 Serve over white rice or with a side of breadView original recipe
